Artificial intelligence for freight forwarders, 3PLs and customs brokers in SwitzerlandUpdated 28 September 2026

AI for transport and logistics: handle more files with the same team

Documents to chase, statuses to communicate, requests to sort, reports to prepare: we automate this work in your email, your TMS (transport management system) or your WMS (warehouse management system).

Your team absorbs more volume without its admin time growing at the same pace. Tariff classification and approving declarations stay human.

What you gain

  • More files, without hiring

Data entry and follow-ups no longer grow at the same pace as volume. The goal is not to replace your team, but to stop it being overwhelmed.

  • No more files stuck in silence

Missing documents are spotted and chased before departure or declaration, not at the last minute.

  • Clients kept informed without effort

Status requests get an answer from your own data, without tying up the person who knows the file.

Measured on a real inbox: sorting emails with AI, 1,592 emails in 17 seconds.

What we automate

A freight forwarder, a 3PL (third-party logistics provider) and a customs broker do not have the same tasks. The logic stays the same: the tool prepares, your team decides.

Activity 1 of 3

Transport and freight forwarding

Collect documents, prepare files and answer status requests.

TaskWhat it changes for youWhat stays human
Opening filesThe file opens with the data already taken from purchase orders, commercial invoices and packing lists. No more re-entry.Illegible or inconsistent documents are flagged to you.
Status requests“Where is my shipment?” gets an answer from the statuses in your TMS or from your carriers.Delays and incidents are still handled by your team.
Missing documentsWhat is missing is spotted before departure, and the client is chased until it arrives.Approving the messages, at least for the first cycles.

Activity 2 of 3

3PL and logistics

Sort requests, handle exceptions and prepare client reports.

TaskWhat it changes for youWhat stays human
Incoming requestsEvery email reaches the right person, sorted by client and request type, with the context.Spot checks once the rules have settled.
ExceptionsStock discrepancies, delays and incomplete orders are flagged to you as soon as they appear.Resolution stays human: the tool flags, it does not decide.
Client reportsWeekly or monthly reports are ready from your data, with no copy-pasting.Review before sending, at least at first.

Activity 3 of 3

Customs

Spot missing documents, chase clients and prepare files.

TaskWhat it changes for youWhat stays human
Complete filesEach file is checked against the list of expected documents, and the client is chased while one is missing.Special cases: special procedures, sensitive goods.
Preparing the declarationThe data from the documents (values, weights, parties) is carried over to prepare the declaration.Non-negotiable: tariff classification, origin and approval of every declaration.
Pending filesYou see at a glance which files are blocked and for how long.Setting priorities.

Your task is not on the list? These tasks are examples, not a closed list: entering orders received as PDFs, checking carrier invoices, invoicing and chasing unpaid invoices, opening an account for a new client, internal dashboards. If a task is repetitive and follows rules, it is worth a look.

What stays under your control: the declaration and the data

A customs declaration commits whoever lodges it, not the tool that helped prepare it. The automation gathers the documents and pre-fills the data; checking and deciding stay with a professional.

On the data side, under the nFADP (Swiss data protection act): processing within a controlled perimeter, with an identified processor and a written retention policy, client documents that do not pass through a consumer service, and a record of what the tool prepared and what your team then approved.

What we do not do, however good the tool:

  • Let a model decide a tariff classification or an origin on its own.
  • Submit a declaration without human approval.
  • Put client documents into a tool when nobody knows where it hosts them or how long it keeps them.

How it works

Three steps, almost all by video call. You decide after seeing what needs doing and what it costs.

  1. A 30-minute call

Free, no offer during the call. Afterwards you receive a written summary: 2 or 3 priorities, the time you could get back and how hard it would be to set up.

  2. A quote before we start

Straight away if you know what to automate, after a process audit if not. You know the price before anything starts. See our pricing.

  3. Implementation in 2 to 6 weeks

In your tools, with the person who does the task. We then check the time actually saved.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to change our TMS, WMS or customs software?

No. We work with your email, your software and your spreadsheets, as they are. If a tool allows no connection at all, we say so during the call rather than propose a migration.

Our clients send documents in every format. Can that be handled?

Yes, it is actually the most common case. PDFs, photos, attachments, portals: the tool reads what arrives and flags what it cannot read with certainty. Those cases go back to your team.

Who is responsible if a declaration prepared by the tool is wrong?

You are, as you are today. That is why no declaration goes out without human approval, and why tariff classification and origin are never delegated to a model.

Isn’t our business too specific to automate?

It is often the other way round. The more your files follow precise rules, the easier it is to spot what is missing and pass on the right information. What is genuinely specific stays with your team.

How long before we see a difference?

A first automation is set up in 2 to 6 weeks, on a limited scope to begin with. The gain is measured over several weeks of real activity, not in a demo.

Does our data, and our clients’ data, stay in Switzerland?

It depends on the tools chosen and how they are hosted. The choice is made before implementation, with the nFADP in mind, and it is written down in the proposal.

How many hours a week does your team spend chasing documents?

In 30 minutes, we spot where your team loses time and what can genuinely be simplified. You leave with the priorities, whether you work with us or not.
